1.  Spelling Bee
This is the first contest of the series in the SSE English Competition 2013 and is part of the preliminary round. Participants will be assigned to spell out words with correct spelling. There are two rounds in this contest: spelling consecutively and randomized.

2.  Missing Lyric
This is the second contest in the series in SSE English Competition 2013 and is part of the preliminary round. Participants are required to fill out the missing lyrics of a song being played. The second rounds in this contest twill be charades guess rows.

3.  News Reading
The contest is the third contest in the series in SSE English Competition 2013, and is also part of the preliminary round. The race will include one representative from each team. Each representative will read a sample of anchor news. The news items presented will be determined by the committee

4.  Story Telling
This is the last contest of the series of qualifying SSE English Competition 2013. As in the previous contest, news reading, in this contest will include one representative from each team to tell an Indonesian story. Participants will be given the freedom to tell the in stories with a maximum duration of 10 minutes ea

5.  Debate
This is a series of contest that serve as the semi-final and final rounds. Participants eligible for this will be the four teams that have accumulated the highest score based on the first series contest down to four. Furthermore, this contest will be conducted to determine the winner of the SSE English Competition 2013. The debate will use the Asian Parliamentary system (no interruptions / POI).
